- Press and hold the 'Home' button at any time to bring up a menu showing the six most recently used applications
- Press and hold the 'End Call' button to bring up a couple of quick options. You can set the phone to Silent, enable Airplane mode, or just switch off. If you actually want to go to vibrate, you can use this to choose Silent, then use the volume control buttons on the left side of the phone to turn the volume up one notch to Vibrate.
- You can add your own words to the dictionary used by the keyboard's autocomplete predictive text function. When you have typed your new word, press and hold the left-most word on the list to save it to the dictionary.
- When typing with the onscreen keyboard, you can bring up a list of common punctuation marks by pressing and holding the full stop. A few other buttons operate similarly - the .com button when entering a web address in the browser, and the smiley button when typing text messages are two.
- Web Page History is available as a tab in the Bookmarks window. Another tab there is Most Visited Sites.
- An option in the Browser settings makes windows open in the background when you press and hold a link and choose Open in New Window.
